Student sponsor programme |

It is the desire of MANITHAM to take
under its wings 20% of the children in the school from the
economically weaker section of the society and provide them
quality education. Towards this end, we have a sponsor programme.
We appeal to those who have been blessed in this life with
enough to spare for supporting this vision. It takes Rs. 7000
per year (US$ 150 / UK£ 100) to provide the multidimensional,
value based education that CREA imparts. The period over which
the support is needed is ten years. Currently 25 children
are being sponsored and we plan to increase this number to
60 in the year 2003-04. |

of India Approval & Income Tax Exemption |

All donations and contributions to
Manitham are exempt from income tax as per
provisions of section 80G of The Indian Income Tax Act 1961.
Foreign contributions are permitted by Government of India
under FCRA 0452737516. |
